ISO certification
DMFoppervlaktebehandeling has ISO 9001-2000 certification. The organization is described in the manual. The production process has been laid down in company procedures and work instructions. In addition to the internal and external control of the quality management system, the entire production process is continually monitored.
This control consists of a number of main points, namely:
Control of the pre-treatment, the correct composition of the process baths and the process times
Quality control during the production, such as: bonding, hardening, coat thickness, look and delivery times
Control of the logistics, such as delivery reliability
Control of environment and working conditions.
Chain responsibility
Quality is not to be found exclusively in process control, inspections and guarantee provisions. It requires a responsible approach from all those involved in the entire chain.
Besides the coating company, the designer and customer have their own responsibilities in providing the possibility of applying a coating and thus directly for the life of the coating system. Their task is it to make well-considered constructions, to carry out regular inspections and to take care of good maintenance.

Hardness - min 90 Buchholz
Impact resistance - ASTM - D - 2794, 2.5 NM: no cracks
Elasticity - ISO 1520 6mm
Salt spray test - ISO 3769 1,000 hours (acid) Max.1 mm corrosion
Mechanical processing - No splintering when sharp tools are used
Machu test - pH 3.0 - 3.3 Max 0.5 mm debonding next to scratch
Kesternich - ISO 3231 24 cycli 0.2 l. SO2 Max.1 mm corrosion
Cement test - ASTM-C 207 24 hours no defects
Fast weathering - DIN 54004 Suntest 1,000 hours Min. remaining shine 50% of shine at the beginning of test

Control regulations for applied coatings
In order to check the coating after application on the products, in cooperation with the Visem (spray and heat hardening companies), DMFoppervlaktebehandeling has drawn up 4 quality classes with control regulations. These are a compilation of many regulations of large customers existing in the market as well as of international standards.
These control requirements are part of the work instructions that are applied by DMFoppervlaktebehandeling on the shop floor. In the quotations made, reference is made to the class in which the product is categorized. If the customer has a system of his own, this will be applied.
